These inserts were handmade every step of the way. They contain 20 pages of crisp, acid-free, 100% cotton ivory paper from Southworth. The warmth of the paper invites you to fill the pages and the weight means you can use anything from a pencil to an inky pen with no bleeding. The cover is made of grayscale cardstock that is also acid-free, so no part of this insert will ever discolor or yellow. I love this journal. It has a great feel and the cover always inspires me to write and sketch out ideas I have in my head. The paper is high quality and the dimensions are wide enough that your hand won’t get cramped trying to write on the page. I definitely recommend!!

The material of the cover is a soft, pleather that invokes handmade and quality. I have enjoyed this journal for personal use and as a gift to several friends who are writers.
